1. Scope

These terms set out the conditions for using Weartap (the "app"). By using the app you agree to them.

2. Price

The app is free to download and use. Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase; a free 7-day trial is available and never converts to a charge automatically. Payments and refunds are governed by Apple's App Store terms.

3. Not medical advice

The app is a timer that records the time your aligners are out and sends reminders. It is not a medical device and gives no diagnosis, treatment advice or prediction of results. Follow your orthodontist's instructions for daily wear time, tray changes and your treatment plan. The operator is not responsible for treatment outcomes based on the app's records, calculations or reminders.

4. Prohibited use

You may not use the app in a way that breaks the law, interferes with its operation, or reverse-engineers, modifies or redistributes it.

5. Disclaimer

The operator does not guarantee that the app is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the app. Data lost through device failure, loss, deletion of the app or iCloud settings cannot be recovered by the operator; keep backups.

6. Changes and discontinuation

The operator may change or discontinue the app without prior notice.

7. Changes to these terms

The operator may update these terms. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator's location as the court of first instance.
